Registration Information
As noted on the course home page, this class can be taken a number of different ways, including for academic credit through WSU or U of Idaho, or as a 'community member' who is interested in the topic for personal or professional experience.
All students: Please fill out the medical info form (pdf; just in case!) and mail it in with your registration or bring it to the first meeting of the class. (Mailing info below.)
To register for academic credit at WSU:
- Enrolled WSU students use 'Metro' as you would for any other course. There is typically a section open through both the Pullman campus and through DDP (Distance Degree Programs, use "EUS campus" if "DDP" does not show)
- Other students who want academic credit, but are not enrolled WSU students need to follow a two-step process;
- fill out a 'non-degree' application available at http://futurestudents.wsu.edu/admission/apply.aspx
- once the above has gone through the system (typically a few days), you can then register through METRO. Contact DDP for assistance at 800-222-4WSU (4978)
To register for academic credit at University of Idaho
- Contact Amanda Snyder: amsnyder@uidaho.edu or
208-885-2049 - A simple form and check for the Continuing Education course fee are all that are needed. For 2008, the course fee is $250 per student plus a portion of the lodging costs ($100). Together, these fees cover lodging, site-to-site transportation, and most meals. (Students are responsible for travel to/from our base camp.)
