Practicum Sessions

The 2-hour Practicum sessions will meet each week of the semester.  Our activities will alternate between “Exploring” (typically a field trip here on campus), conducting a scientific experiment, working with data and/or communicating about science or food systems – whether through developing skills in understanding and presenting scientific data, or giving a presentation about one of our exploratory or experimental projects.

Unless noted specifically, each week there will be some type of write-up due the following week based on our activities that day.  In a few cases, there will be a bigger project that may extend over a couple of weeks and/or require some out-of class time.

For more information on specific sessions, see the Course Schedule

Also offered to community members for CEU credits
1 semester, 3 credit hours
